Artwork
The kookaburra is celebrated as an icon of Australia. Their distinctive laugh echoes through the bush, serving as a reminder for all who hear it to laugh it off. Laugh off mistakes. Laugh off failures. Laugh off the stress of the day. It’s hard not to smile when you hear their call.

Winemaking
Lovely-looking handpicked fruit was stomped, then delicately pressed and allowed to settle overnight before being racked to neutral French barriques for wild fermentation. The wine was then racked into a small tank for a combined wild malolactic fermentation, after which it was racked back to 2 barriques. It remained in these small oak barrels on fine lees for 10 months, being checked on periodically, before being bottled unfiltered and unfined in January 2025.
Vineyard
Vineyard Grown by the Kennedys in Heathcote - see the ‘Midnight Dilemma’ Shiraz and ‘Neighbour’s Fruit’ Pet Nat Rose sections for more details on the vineyard. Fiano is an Italian variety that fares well in the climates found in Heathcote. It’s one of Gez and Lucy’s newer varietals on their site and is showing great promise for them!
